p1060113 Montessorians serve as advocates for the children–championing the rights of the child in society. At Oaks, the education is based on helping the natural development of the human being.

Children learn at their own pace and follow their own individual interests.  Learning is based on the fact that physical exploration and cognition are linked.  The teachers work in collaboration with the children to achieve a balance of body, mind, and spirit.

Children attending the school will be exposed to a method which will facilitate the growth of inner discipline and later complex reasoning through a free choice and organized use of didactic materials within an atmosphere conducive to these ends. We strive to equip our children in their whole being for the adventure of life, use of the free exercise of will and judgment, enlightened by imagination and enthusiasm.
